Cleveland Area band to open for Atlantic Recording Artist TAPROOT

Cleveland, Ohio February 28, 2006 – Cleveland natives Audiblethread will be opening for Atlantic Recording Artist TAPROOT on  Monday March 27, 2006 at Peabody’s Down Under.

Audiblethread consists of singer Eric C. Hess, guitarists Eric Antonik and Robert Uhoda, bassist Eric Dolence, and drummer Niko Atheneos. They have graced the stage with bands such as 30 Seconds to Mars, Fu Manchu, Lo Pro, Drowning Pool, Magna Fi, and Powerman 5000.

After three short years since the band started performing live, they have gained a strong regional fan base, released the EP, "Blue: the fifth imprint," the acoustic EP, "Suture," and showcased in music festivals in Chicago, Texas and Ohio. In May of 2004 they were voted "Best Band in Cleveland," through Cleveland's Scene Magazine by their fans. A contest which secured them in a showcase spot for the MECA Music Conference in Chicago.

2005 showed a change in direction with the release "Polar Shifts," The E.P. included reworked versions of "Nexus" and "Coeval," along with new songs "This Synapse Is Broken," "The Focus," and their own rendition of NIN's "Something I Can Never Have."

The next release is scheduled for June 2006, titled, "Resist Everything". They return to Conquistador Studios where Cole Martinez will be recording and capturing the new material. This new release will be showcasing their constant evolution. Growing as musicians, songwriters; they strive to put out the best pieces of music, together, as a band.
