The Perfect Home Business Just Got More Affordable

Years ago, a western artist friend of mine (and a very good one) complained that people would pay him large sums of money to paint Barney the dinosaur or other children themes on the walls of their houses, but they wouldn’t buy his artwork. I understood his discontent—being that he was an “artist” after all, but I was recovering from a broken back at the time and had no way of making money. So I starting thinking that even though I was less of an artist, maybe I could come up with a theme or two that I could paint over and over again as murals and make some money doing it. So I began charging for “star ceilings”, and again to my surprise, people paid and paid well ($200 to $300 on average) and they still loved it. I have been paid $1,000 from a single customer and I was finished in only a few hours and she was so thrilled that she sold 4 other jobs for me! The biggest thing to me has always been that people really do love it. If you have ever sold things that people don’t need or don’t really want—well then you understand why this is a big deal.

All these years later, people still love it and I still get great reactions when I show a completed room. I have never had a single person that was dissatisfied or complained about anything, that in itself makes this a pretty amazing business. The other amazing thing is – just how big the market is. There are millions and millions and millions of bedrooms. There are probably tens of thousands of bedrooms within a few miles drive of wherever you are right now—the market is huge.
